[244hkl] Primrose hackle of the Lancashire Fusiliers (20th Foot).

When the fusiler Brigade was formed in 1958, There were three English fusilier regiments (Royal Warwickshire Fusilers were formed in 1963, from the Royal Warwickshire Regiment) They all adopted the same capbadge, which is as worn by the current Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. The main distinguishing feature was the different coloured hackles. The Lancashire Fusiliers wore the primrose hackle as shown above. This was dropped in 1968 on the formation of the Royal Regiment of Fusilers.
