[53] The Royal Hampshire Regiment (37th/67th Foot)
Formed in 1881 from the amalgamation of the 37th (North Hampshire) Regiment and the 67th (South Hampshire) Regiment. Became part of the Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment (Queen's and Royal Hampshires) on 9th September 1992.

This is the King's Crown version of the badge, as the Hampshire were granted the 'Royal' title in 1946, although this badge did not appear until 1949, and of course on the accession of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953, the badge changed to the Queen's Crown.
