[56] The Royal Green Jackets (43rd, 52nd, 60th, RB)
Formed in 1966 from the amalgamation of the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry (43rd and 52nd), the King's Royal Rifle Corps (60th) and the Rifle Brigade. Rifle Regiments do not carry Regimental colours, so some of the many Battle Honours are shown on the badge. The Green Jackets are well known as the premier Infantry Regiment in the British Army.
