[319] Buckinghamshire Battalion, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry
The Buckinghamshire Rifle Volunteers were formed in 1860 and became the Buckinghamshire Battalion, The Oxfordshire Light Infantry in 1908. Although it became part of a Light Infantry Regiment, the Buck's Bn refused to change badges or reliquish its Rifle uniform. Shown with red felt backing (not supplied).

[308] 8th West Yorkshire Regiment (Leeds Rifles)
This is the badge worn by the battalion between 1908-1922. In 1922 the 7th and 8th Bn,s amalagamated and a new badge was issued.

[433] 7th/8th West Yorkshire Regiment (Leeds Rifles)(Post 1922)
This is the badge worn after the amalgamation of the 7th and 8th Battalions in 1922, in 1936 the 8th transferred to the Royal Artillery and in 1928 the 7th became part of the Royal Tank Corps.

[304] The Hertfordshire Regiment (49th)
Raised in Jamaica by Colonel Edward Trelawny, in December 1743. Known as the 63rd or Trelawney's Foot, they were renumbered the 49th in 1748. In 1881 the 49th amalgamated with the 66th Foot to form the Berkshire Regiment.
