Regiments 77-80

[G77] 77th (East Middlesex) Regiment.

Became part of the Middlesex Regiment (Duke of Cambridge's Own) in 1881, then part of the Queen's Regiment (1966) now part of the Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment (Queen's and Royal Hampshire).

[G78] 78th (Highland) Regiment , or The Ross-shire Buffs

Became part of the Seaforth Highlanders in 1881

[G79] 79th or Cameron Highlanders (Wm).

Became part of the Queen's Own Highlanders(Seaforth and Cameron) in 1961, now part of the Highlanders (Seaforth, Gordons and Camerons)(1994).

[G80] 80th (Staffordshire Volunteers) Regiment.

Became part of the South Staffordshire Regiment in 1881, now part of the Staffordshire Regiment (1959).
