[SB257] The East Yorkshire Regiment

One of the nicknames attributed to the East Yorkshire Regiment was 'The Iron Footed Bastards' this related to a 250 mile march of the 2nd battalion to Kandahar in extremely hot weather.

[SB270] The Sherwood Foresters (Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Regiment)

Formed in 1881 from the amalgamation of the 45th (1st Nottinghamshire ) Regiment and the 95th Derbyshire Regiment.

[SB232] The Cameronians Scottish Rifles

Formed in 1881 from the amalgamation of the 26th Cameronian Regiment and the 90th Perthshire Light Infantry. Disbanded in 1968.
