[SB95th] The 95th or Rifle Regiment

Formed in 1800 and from the inception only wearing green jackets, the 95th Rifles distinguished themselves throughout the Peninsular war and at the battle of Waterloo, as a result of this they were taken out of the numbered regiments of the line in 1816, and renamed The Rifle Brigade. This is a silver plated version of the early shako badge, mounted on the regimental tie colours of the Rifle Brigade.
